Providing Families a Peace of Mind!

The Law Firm of Gina Leguria provides estate planning assistance to people in and around Modesto, California. We handle elder law matters as well, with an emphasis on long-term care and the costs that go along with it.

Our clients discuss very sensitive subjects with us, and this is something that we take to heart. You can rest assured that you will receive sincere, personalized attention every step of the way when you work our firm.

Communication is key, and this is our strength. We can gain an understanding of your situation, become apprised of your objectives, and make recommendations. At the end of the process, you can put a plan in place that will protect your loved ones.

I learned firsthand the effects of failing to plan when my father was killed in a vehicle accident without any planning documents in place requiring me to probate my father’s estate, including business and cattle operations. As a result, I became determined to help others avoid the added devastation of an often complicated and expensive legal process!

My education, training and business experience
I earned a bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1989. I went on to receive a Master of Business Administration degree from Golden Gate University. In 1999, I graduated from the McGeorge School of Law, Pacific University with a Juris Doctor degree.

I founded the Law Firm of Gina Leguria in 2009. My areas of expertise are estate planning, including wills and trusts, and elder law. I provide comprehensive assistance within these legal specialties. My clients say I have an uncanny ability to make them feel at ease when they are discussing very personal details and difficult family situations.

I am a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, where I sit on the Board of Governors.

I am deeply committed to educating people in our community about the importance of estate planning and Medi-Cal planning.  I offer free seminars/webinars to raise awareness. I am a frequent speaker at events focused on financial education for women, planning for long-term care, and caring for loved ones with special needs.

When I m not working, I enjoy .
I have been married to my husband, Jack, for nearly 30 years. We have two lovely young adult daughters and have enjoyed watching the girls play softball and various other sports.  We spend family time in the mountains or can be found enjoying most any sporting event.

As a family living with Type 1 Diabetes, we are active supporters of the Diabetes Youth Families organization’s Bearskin Meadow Camp and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

The work I do with my clients, coupled with my educational outreach efforts, is my priority. However, as a community-minded person, I have done years of volunteer work for my church, my girls' schools, and various diabetes organizations.  I currently serve on the Board of Directors for United Cerebral Palsy, a nonprofit that provides programs for disabled individuals, and my local Estate Planning Council.
