Highly experienced and dedicated educator with a proven track record of fostering literacy and student success. I earned a Master's Degree from the College of St Rose in Literacy and a Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Plattsburgh in Elementary Education. I had a fulfilling teaching career that began in 1991 at South Colonie Central School District, culminating in retirement in 2023. |

| When I m not working, I enjoy . I find great satisfaction in creating and maintaining a welcoming home environment. This includes ongoing projects to enhance the space and make it even more inviting. I'm also an avid walker, embracing the outdoors whenever possible. I enjoy the opportunity to connect with family, listen to podcasts, audiobooks, or music during my walks, and I'm often spotted exploring the local area. I'm always seeking new opportunities to be outside, and when I can find a moment, I enjoy reading. |

Throughout my career as an educator, I was committed to fostering a strong school community. I actively participated in numerous committees. I also dedicated my time to supporting various PTA events and school-wide fundraisers. My passion for education extended beyond the classroom, and I consistently sought opportunities to enhance the school environment and support student success. Since retiring, I am eager to transition my skills and dedication to new community endeavors. I am actively exploring volunteer opportunities that align with my interests. I am currently seeking opportunities to contribute my time and expertise to make a positive impact on the community and am open to exploring new avenues for engagement. |
